American Boychoir To Perform At Westport Church

WESTPORT, Conn. -- The American Boychoir, which has performed around the world ranging from the New York and Berlin Philharmonic orchestras to accompanying rock star Beyonce, will sing at Christ & Holy Trinity Church in Wesport on Jan. 30.

The choir, based in Princeton, N.J., was founded in 1937,and sings in more than 100 concerts a year. The group’s Westport performance is will feature works by Felix Mendelssohn, Samuel Barber, Javier Busto, Ola Gjeilo and David Willcocks, among others.

A reception where the audience can meet the performers will follow the concert in the Great Hall, adjacent to the church.

Tickets are $45 for preferred seating, $35 for general adult admission, and $15 for children under 18. The show begins at 8 p.m.
